Centrally located in the heart of downtown Stowe and a short drive from Mount Mansfield, Field Guide's boutique hotel rooms and suites in the Lodge and Trail House offer year-round accommodations perfect for an intimate escape, a friends’ weekend, or a family get-together.  The lodge-chic design is inspired by Vermont’s flora and fauna, nostalgic yet modern, romantic and a bit whimsical, while the bucolic Vermont scenery inspires the hotel’s contemporary lodgings – with outdoorsy-print wallpapers, tactile timbers and nature-referencing hues – where the deer heads are papier-mâché and the furs are faux. 

 

The property is comprised of two buildings, each with its own distinct features, but both offer updated amenities and modern design. The main building, known as the Lodge, is a fresh take on a classic "ski haus" with intimate double-occupancy rooms, the front desk, breakfast area, and lounge. The Trail House, set at the back edge of the property in close proximity to the pool, houses luxe suites and cottages that make an ideal gathering spot for families and larger parties. These more spacious accommodations are in a separate building that is not connected to the Lodge.

 

A sociable lobby-bar-lounge is at the heart of this retreat, but as the mercury rises, expect the party to extend to the patio and outdoor pool, where a fire pit encourages laidback evenings alfresco. The (seasonal) heated pool makes for the perfect remedy after a long day of exploring, shopping, leaf peeping, or bike riding.

 

 

Located in the heart of Stowe village, Field Guide Stowe is a quick stroll to boutiques and dining (10 min) and a short drive to the slopes (15 min).
