Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is closed to vehicles March through November and during the winter holiday season unless you are an overnight guest of Zion Lodge. Overnight guests may drive as far as the lodge and park in designated areas. All other visitors must park near Zion Canyon Visitor Center or in the town of Springdale and take the shuttle.

 

Deep in Zion Canyon, one will find a lush oasis fed by the Virgin River. Here, the historic Zion Lodge nestles into the surrounding cliffs with sweeping views of Zion’s famous sandstone towers.

Unlike many other major national parks, Zion has only one hotel. Zion Lodge, which also includes 15 historic 1920s cabins, offers guests a rare opportunity to spend the night inside Zion National Park and to experience the park’s dramatic sunrises, sunsets, and sparkling night sky up close. 

 Zion Lodge has options for every taste bud and budget: Castle Dome Café for casual fare and fresh brewed coffee; Red Rock Grill for a relaxing sit-down meal; and a Beer Garden for craft brews and spectacular views.

 

 

Zion Lodge is the only hotel located inside Zion National Park.

The relaxing hotel rooms include private balconies, extra comfy beds, and satellite television.

All rooms come with a full bath and mini-fridge. Lodge rooms feature two queen beds or one king bed. Please note, king beds are only available on the second floor, with no elevator access.

 

Lodge Suites:

Suites feature a lovely sitting area and separate bedroom with a king-sized bed. Enjoy the private balcony, flat-screen television, and wet bar equipped with a small refrigerator, sink, and microwave. Please note: All suites are on the second floor, with no elevator access.
